Gutenberg ready version 5 released

After release of WordPress version 5.0 and new Gutenberg editor, we’ve had our hands full implementing new features and making sure that VideoBoard theme is fully optimized for latest release. This has been a major update so we also decided to increment theme version to keep up with WordPress changes. At the time of writing this post, VideoBoard theme version is 5.0.2 while WordPress version is 5.2.2.

The biggest change in this release affects page builder objects. They are now available as editor blocks to match new editing experience. Having them as part of the block editor provides much more freedom and flexibility when building posts and pages.

In addition to editor updates there are also multiple improvements regarding theme design and functionality. Full list of other changes and bug fixes can be found in changelog available inside theme directory.
